Jackie Breen
Jackie has been a member of Emmanuel Church since 1951. Her Johnsen family has a long history at Emmanuel Church along with being very active and engaged members in the church. As a child she was involved in the Girls’ Choir, the Girl’s Friendly Society and the YPF. In adulthood Jackie was a Sunday school teacher, the chairperson of the Lawn Fete (twice!), a Vestry-at-Large member, volunteered with our Emmanuel Day School and for the past 14 years she has been the Chef for Emmanuel’s monthly Soup’s On Community Dinner.
Jackie worked at Newport Hospital for 40 years as a Registered Nurse and presently works at the James L Maher Center as one of their RNs on staff. Jackie is looking forward to being on the Vestry again to support the Emmanuel Community and our goals moving forward.
