(The Rev. Canon) Nicholas T. Porter is our guest preacher today, joining us virtually from Acer Farm in
Brattleboro, Vermont. Canon Porter is the executive director and founder of Jerusalem Peacebuilders, an interfaith nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting leadership and peace education among Israeli, Arab, and American youth. An Episcopal priest and educator, Canon Porter has lived, worked and travelled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. He lives in Brattleboro with his wife and daughters. His latest projects are to open a summer peace camp in Lebanon for refugee teens from Syria’s warring sects and to design a Youth Peace and Leadership Empowerment curriculum for use in Jerusalem.
